David Vaddy, of Springfield, is charged with one count each of possession with intent to distribute heroin, crack, and cocaine following his arrest on Saturday, March 25, Ludlow police said.

Officers pulled over Vaddy's car just before 1 a.m. for a routine traffic stop on Center Street, but things escalated when police realized Vaddy had a warrant for his arrest, authorities said.

Officers searched the car and found two bundles of heroin, four baggies of crack, and 10 bags of cocaine inside the vehicle, police said. There was also 28 bags of marijuana flower, multiple containers of liquid THC, and more than $700 in cash.

There were three passengers in the car, including the young child. Police called the Massachusetts Department of Children and Families following their investigation, Ludlow authorities said.
